Woo-Young and Sumin have awarded the Bronze medal at the 2020 CON2ECT Creative Research Competition (창의연구 경진대회) held at Sungkyunkwan University, Dec. 2020. In the competition, students from many universities in Korea including INU, Kyunghee University, Hanyang University, Ajou University, Sungkyunkwan University, etc. analyzed the convergence problems related to diverse industrial difficulties and performed research in a year period of 2020, proposing a creative solution that can be practically employed to the corresponding industrial and social fields.

By performing loads of research works, Woo-Young and Sumin have finally reached a solution for the optimal storage and packaging method of therapeutic extracellular vesicles (EVs) derived from stem cells, which are critically required to commercialize the EV medicinal product. The valuable information that they provided through this project would support safe and reliable use of therapeutic EVs in the clinic.
